POSITION OBJECTIVE:

• Firmware Developer will be responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining firmware for Bluetooth speakers, rangefinders, GPS watches and other golf-related hardware.
• Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a similar position.

• Write and debug C (or C++) code for embedded systems and hardware interactions.
• Work closely with product managers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
• Implement efficient low-level communication protocols (e.g. BLE).
• Optimize power management and battery performance for embedded systems.
• Maintain and improve over-the-air (OTA) firmware update mechanisms.

• Proficiency in C (or C++) for embedded development.
• Experience with Bluetooth (BLE) communication stacks for connected devices.
• Familiarity with memory management, interrupts, and embedded debugging.
• Knowledge of firmware security best practices.
• Experience with Git for version control

• Work closely with mobile app developers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine product designs.
• Participate in code reviews, firmware documentation, and development planning.
• Contribute to firmware performance optimizations and bug fixes.
